On May 10, 2004, Jazzy Wings began its pursuit of becoming a premier, family-oriented restaurant known for its flavorful "buffalo style" chicken wings and authentic New Orleans cuisine. Jazzy Wings is a family-owned and operated establishment committed to a 100% customer-satisfaction rate, guaranteed! Because we use only high-quality ingredients and our chicken wings are prepared fresh for each order, we have successfully created a large base of loyal customers. In addition to our knack for providing wing lovers with great-tasting, quality products, our ever-growing and increasingly diverse population of customers can be attributed to our creative marketing tactics and community relations. The sum of our brand is dedication and consistency with our primary mission being to reach the mouths of wing lovers everywhere through our exhilarating taste, quality service and professional atmosphere.

Along with many other local businesses, Jazzy Wings was forced to temporarily shut down its operations in August 2005 due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina; our restaurant sustained approximately 5 feet of flood water and our equipment was totally destroyed, but we did not allow this to crush our spirits. We were determined to pick up the pieces and continue on with our mission. Through hard work and dedication, Jazzy Wings held its grand re-opening on June 9, 2007, at its original location; we were overjoyed by the support we received from our entire community.

During our two and a half years of re-building and re-establishing our brand in the local marketplace, Jazzy Wings has developed solid community relations and partnerships. Our focus has been to uphold our mission while strategically expanding our music in ya mouth brand across broader geographic lines. We have consistently maintained our quality products while focusing on establishing an even stronger identity in the marketplace by entering into the realms of offering university delivery, catering services, and community festivals vendors.

On February 19, 2010, our establishment endured a fire which halted 90% of our business operations. However, we are currently providing limited catering services to our faithful patrons and we are also a proud vendor of the monthly Freret Street Market. Jazzy Wings has become a community staple and is once again committed to returning its storefront, while continuing its duty to our city's development and revitalization efforts. Again, we are proud to be amongst a community that is anxiously awaiting our return.
